After the overwhelming success of the ZenFone 2 Laser 5 and 5.5, ASUS recently launched the latest model of the series in India, the ZenFone 2 Laser 6 ZE601KL. It has a 6-inch display and equipped with ASUS PixelEnhancing and PixelMaster technology which allows users to take up to 400 percent brighter and clearer photos and videos.
The ZenFone 2 Laser 6 has an upgraded software that features a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 with 3GB RAM. It packs a 16GB of internal memory and supports expandable storage via microSD card up to 128GB.
To be specific, the dual-sim phone's software enhancements include apps and features such as What's Next, ZenLink, ZenMotion, Quick Access, ASUS Splendid, Kids Mode, Snap View, One Hand Mode, Trend Micro Security, Themes and many others.
With its 13MP f/2.0 rear camera that has a 0.03s auto-focus, users can now enjoy up to two times faster focus and zero shutter lag. The ZenFone 2 Laser 6 also has a dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP f/2.0 front camera.
ASUS' latest creation has a 6-inch full HD (1920x1080) display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a removable 3000mAh battery. The phone runs on ZenUI 2.0 over Android and is available in various colors such as red, silver and gold.
The phone's connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, GPRS/EDGE, 3G and micro-USB. It also supports 4G LTE bands. ASUS also proudly announced that ZenFone 2 Laser 6 can support download speeds up to 150Mbps.
The ZenFone 2 Laser 6 measures 164.5x84x10.5mm and weighs approximately 190 grams. It comes with an accelerometer, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity light and ambient light.
The smartphone is available in e-commerce websites including Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal for a price of Rs 17,999 or $275. It will become available in stores by the second week of December.
