After being last seen on November 27 in Utah, Kristin Cavallari's brother Michael has been officially reported as missing.

According to local news outlet KSL, he was last seen in Grand County and officials have been on the lookout but it proves to be difficult as his vehicle was just abandoned and there aren't any signs. The car seems like it had been in an accident as the airbag was deployed, and all his personal belongings ,like his computer and phone, are now in the possession of the police.

According to Michael Cavallari's family, he was on his journey to visit a friend in Boston from his hometown in Sacramento, CA. He was last seen in a convenience store nearby, and credit card transactions as well as video surveillance indicate that Michael was alone during this and he was merely in the area to ask for directions going to Salt Lake City. Investigators in Utah are now doing a search on the reality star's brother especially as they see this case as 'an odd one.' He is now on the database of 'Missing Persons of America.'

As for Kristin Cavallari, she thanks fans for the endless support for her and her family during this difficult time. Radar Online reports that the former 'Laguna Beach' star took it out on Twitter to show some gratitude. She tweets I appreciate the thoughts & prayers that have been extended to me & my family. I have such gratitude for those that have shared their support."

A recent report by Daily Mail says that Orange County Sheriff's Department previously arrested Kristin Cavallari's brother for making criminal threats prior to his disappearance. He was able to post bail two days after and was released shortly after. This incident has left his family so worried especially because they didn't know why he was going on a trip alone anyway. As of now, they only request the public to respect their privacy during this grueling time.
