The "Batman Forever" actor Val Kilmer has announced that he's in good health; but his latest condition, as he picks up his groceries in his hometown in Malibu, says otherwise.
Kilmer was seen carrying his groceries in the parking lot of Trader Joe's in downtown Malibu wearing a thick hoodie and a red scarf. On his neck was a tracheostomy tube; an apparatus that is inserted to a hole made in the neck and windpipe to help him breathe, an article from Radar Online revealed.
It was just in October that Radar Online reported that the 55-year-old actor was diagnosed of a terminal illness that affects his throat. He refused to undergo modern medical treatment for his condition but instead opted for alternative techniques such as meditation and faith to help him return to his original state of health. Kilmer is also known as a Christian Scientist and believer of Christian Science teachings.
From the images of the Willow actor which were seen in Radar Online, he was seen slouching and seems to be having a difficult time moving along the parking lot. In both his arms were bags of groceries.
Kilmer was recently admitted in the ICU for his condition. But despite all these evidence, the actor continued to claim that he is doing okay physically. He even took to Facebook about the rumors regarding his health.
"There's a rumor I'm unwell again and in the hospital, which is totally untrue. I was in to verify I have no tumor or infection of any kind."
His mother, Gladys Leach also admitted to Radar that her son is sick and has recently underwent tracheostomy. She said that he is battling a throat tumor. On the other hand, the Top Gun actor was seen using a scarf all year which seems to be hiding something on his neck.
