Julianne Hough, the "Dancing with the Stars" alum who also made a cut in "Safe Haven", has reportedly dropped $1.94 million on a chic, rustic Hollywood Hills home.

Hough's brand new place is a 2,101-square-feet single-family house, comprising of four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

The purchase comes about a year after she sold her Nashville residence for $900,000. Hough's ex-house in Music City is a cozy 1,829-square-feet condo with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. She purchased the place in 2009 for around $649,000.

Hough moved into the Nashville pad soon after she broke up with TV and radio personality Ryan Seacrest. She used to live with Seacrest in his super luxurious Beverly Hills residence that he purchased from famous talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres for $37 million.

Hough's new house may not be as luxurious as Seacrest's mansion, but it definitely is a sweet deal - according to Trulia.

Photos of the house show hardwood floors, French windows and doors and stunning views of the hills and the city below. The home has a formal living area, a modern kitchen with marble tops and a mid-rise island. There is a cozy lanai leading out to the gardens and pool area outside.

Meanwhile, Hough is currently on a dance tour with her equally talented brother Derek Hough. The siblings have been dancing since they were kids. They recently covered People magazine and opened up about their crazy childhood to the publication.

"It was a time in my life where it was really, really hard work but the result was very fulfilling. Dancing is taking me back to my roots and giving me that energy and confidence. I'm just going for it now," Julianne Hough said.

In another interview with Daily Times Entertainment, Hough said dancing was her stress buster:

"Dancing is pure, utter joy where you can forget what's going on in the world and in your life for a moment. When you're dancing your very present and the physicality takes over and let's your mind rest for a minute."

"Sometimes you feel stuck when things aren't going well, you're overwhelmed and you just feel heavy and pressed on, (but dance) takes me out of my mind and brings me into the present. For me, dance is fun; I just feel lighter and more positive and brighter. (Through the show), we want people to feel light, feel bright and feel excited to do whatever they want to do," she added.
