Attention Twitter fans! Your favorite social media platform has revamped its photo-sharing service by allowing its users to post bigger images. The layout has also been improved.

Twitter recently released a statement on its blog section that images shared will now be displayed in full rather than the auto-cropped versions.

Twitter's goal of enhancing its image posting is to provide a more media-heavy experience and improved multi-photo displays for their users and fans to see. This minor change is aimed to help Twitter continue its transition from the text-based service to better support rich media.

According to TechCrunch, Twitter is a great platform for many things such as communication, memes, and social activities. The only thing that needed improvement was the image sharing style. For photographers, Twitter is not a good platform to display their works and masterpiece. It's not a good platform for photography.

"While Twitter began as an all-text platform, rich media has become essential to the experience. Some of the best moments on Twitter are when you see the world through someone else's eyes," Twitter's product manager Akarshan Kumar said in the platform's blog.

For the less technical users, posting photos in Twitter would create truncated view on the images. This would lead to a not so good photo presentation. Due to that issue, Twitter addressed the problem by allowing photos to be posted on the same sizes when you originally took them.

Those who love tweeting multiple photos will expect to see the display format as larger than before. It also provides emphasis on the lead image which is presented in a much bigger size.

The only concern here is the way you are scanning the tweets in the timeline. With much bigger images, it would require more time to scroll as the images take up more screen space. Despite this concern, the announcement made by Twitter makes it sound like a good update for everyone especially to those who love sharing their photos.
