Last Sunday's episode of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" was highlighted by a wild brawl between Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams. Although the nasty incident strained several of Bailey's friendships, it unexpectedly strengthened her marriage with Peter Thomas.

Bailey, who earned the nickname "Kung Fu Panda", insisted to her fellow housewives, "I really feel like it's not only made my marriage stronger. It's actually, in a crazy way, brought us closer."

After the fight, Bailey realized Thomas was the first person she wanted to turn to. She called him up and pleaded, "I need you to come home."

"Peter and I are going through a tough time right now, but he's still my husband and he's still my rock," Bailey admitted.

She continued, "Peter and I have been just bumping heads for weeks now. But as soon as this whole mess happened, he was the only one that I felt really comfortable talking to about it."

When Thomas came home, their marriage initially went downhill again, with Bailey upset at her husband for telling her that she had "hurt" Williams. Fortunately, things began picking up when Thomas made her realize that the fight was a reflection of what they were going through in their marriage.

"I'm quite sure that all this emotional stuff that you're going through -- it ain't about her. It's never happened 40-something years of your life, why is it happening now?" Peter asked.

He suggested, "So, when you see her later, apologize to her. But we need to talk about where you are at right now."

Thomas then assured Bailey that if she is willing to work on their marriage, he is also "more than willing" to work on it. Bailey responded with an "I do" and gave her husband a hug.

Bailey and Williams later made up during a lunch get-together plotted by co-star Kenya Moore.
