A week from now, "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will finally be hitting the big screen and fans are more than psyched to see what's going to happen. Numerous fan theories have been circulating in regards to the latest sequel, yet Disney and Lucasfilm teams have been very careful when it comes to releasing their teasers.

Both production houses have been cautious in releasing hints in regards to what's going to happen as they are focused in keeping fans at the edge of their seats. One of the most mind boggling questions that got fans thinking was, where did Rey and Finn came from? Are they Skywalkers? Or Solo? Their last names have been kept anonymous all throughout the film.

John Boyega himself shared that he does not know what's instore for his character in the near future as well.

"I just remember during my time screen-testing, I was like, to Daisy [Ridley], there's no way that our stories are so simple,' and we still don't know! So I've still got some conspiracy theories as a fan as to where Finn comes from and I'm still trying to figure that out, but I like that it's a mystery."

Fans may be expecting a revelation as to where Finn came from, but as per Cinema Blend, they won't be getting their answers from "Star Wars Episode VII." [or will they?]

Fans may have to wait from another instalment to understand where Finn and Rey came from, as it was reported that their backstory might be revealed on "Star Wars Episode VIII". Kathleen Kennedy however stated that most of the details in the trilogy have not been mapped out yet, which can lead on to some changes as they'd progress.

As "Star Wars Episode VIII", co-writer Lawrence Kasdan openly shared that the upcoming episode which would be shot early next year, would be "something weird."

"These movies will all be so different. ["Episode VIII" director] Rian Johnson is a friend of mine - he's going to make some weird thing."
