Xiaomi is planning to launch the Mi 5 early next year. It looks like the company has decided to unveil their upcoming product on the 21st of January with a physical home button which allows fingerprint sensor. Mi 5 would come with Qualcomm's ultrasonic fingerprint scanner which is directly embedded in its display.

According to Recorder Journal, Xiaomi plans to learn two versions of Mi 5. First one will be priced at CNY 1,999 which is approximately Rs. 20,800 and the second one is at CNY 2,499 or approximately Rs. 26,000).

The recent teaser about the product reveals the Force Touch display in the handset. The rumored specs of the said smartphone include Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC and are expected to offer Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Xiaomi's flagship smartphone is considered as the most expensive model which may cost $400 outright. Xiaomi has a potential to dominate the market. For now, the company is taking the safest approach to creating a flawless flagship. Engineers in the company are heading to the implementation of the best tech in the phone and that includes the new fingerprint tech Sense ID from Qualcomm.

The Mi 5 smartphone will the company's first ever handset that features physical Home button. The phone's display will carry a support for Quad HD resolution. A few leaks about the phone's specs are starting to circulate online thought the released to the worldwide market has not yet been discussed.

The official teaser of the smartphone was also released in the official Xiaomi Mi 5 account and over the weekend, the official photo of gadget has been published online and this gives users the idea on what Xiaomi Mi 5 looks like.
