Fans of the popular video game "Mass Effect 4" have something to celebrate about. A report has surfaced on Wednesday saying that the game will feature a new map that is three times the size of the galaxy map featured in "Mass Effect 3," according to Master Herald.

"'Mass Effect 4' will also feature a multiplayer mode, but the old characters will be gone. The development team from BioWare has confirmed that they have created new maps and characters at the request of gamers. The multiplayer mode of 'Mass Effect 4' will be called Horde Mode where the player and three other friends will need to fight against waves of enemy troops in various battlefields. The players will also need to disable bombs near a colony base, assassinate targets, among several other missions," the report said.

According to the report, BioWare said that the game will have new protagonists who are related to the N7. Aside from this, there will be "two customizable outfits for males and females which shall be unveiled once players get to explore the titular universe located at the Helius Cluster, which was also part of the galaxy map of the previous game."

"The game will take place in the Helius Cluster, a group of hundreds of star systems in the Andromeda galaxy. The cluster is reportedly 4 times the size of Mass Effect 3's galaxy map. The goal of your character's expedition to the Helius cluster is to find ideal locations for colonies for Citadel races, which is probably a contingency plan in case the Reapers destroy all life in the galaxy.  You will also come across 'the remains of a once powerful and mysterious alien race, the Remnant, whose forgotten technology holds the key to gaining power to this region of the galaxy,'" Overmental said.
