The Sheriff's Department told the publication that the informant had reported the same thing "for several weeks after the incident, Michael kept knocking on her door, but she refused to answer."
It was on Nov. 23 that the informant heard a sort of "tapping" on her door. Apparently, Michael "[had] a shotgun pressed to his shoulder and the barrel raised parallel to the ground, aiming down the path."
Furthermore, the statement from the Sheriff's Department continued: "While responding to the address, Michael Cavallari notified dispatch he had a shotgun and was going to Dana Point City Hall." The report also stated that deputies responded to the said City Hall following the call, and then contact Michael. Michael Cavallari had "a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath."
Michael Cavallari admitted to having a loaded shotgun in his trunk prior to being arrested. He responded with a "yes" after being read his Miranda Rights, as reported by the Sheriff Department's statement, which also states that Cavallari "denied doing anything or saying anything to the victim/informant."
