Moto X Pure Edition under Verizon, Sprint and US Cellular, are soon to have the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, says David Schuster of Motorola. Motorola, not too long ago, was reported to start a soak test on selected users of the Moto X Pure Edition with the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. If everything will work out fine, a full launch will happen next.
Motorola's senior director of software product management Schuster also stated in his post that the company has started another Android 6.0 soak test for international variant of the Moto X, which is the Moto X Play (2015) in India and Brazil. A soak test is also happening for Moto X Force in Brazil, GSM Arena reported.
On other news, a newer model of the Moto G has been released in Mexico last month, which is also about to be released in India. Motorola India has posted a Tweet about this new phone. The third -generation Moto G phone boasts about its fast-charging ability and is equipped with a noise-cancellation microphone.
Moto G Turbo Edition, the new model, is a 5-inch Gorilla Glass 3 protected, 720 x 1280 HD resolution screen that is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor. This is rated at four cores at 1.7GHz and four at 1GHz and will also come with an Adreno 405 for the graphics, as well as a 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage space, Android Central reported.
The Moto G Turbo Edition main camera is a 13-megapixel with an f/2.0 aperture and also comes with a dual-LED CCT flash. The front-facing camera is 5-megapixel with an f/2.2 aperture, wide-angle selfie camera. It is dual-SIM, water-resistant (IP67 rating) and is said to be around Rs. 14,000. The battery is rated at 2,740 mAh and can offer a full fun-filled day.
Moto G Turbo Edition will also be receiving the Android 6. 0 Marshmallow update.
