ABC's Once Upon a Time is planning to revisit the brave girl, who was previously seen in the Season 3 episode "Kansas" which was played by Matreya Scarrwener who also starred on UP's Ties That Bind.
When Dorothy will appear midway through Season 5B, she will be in her mid-30s and will have transformed from "the iconic, pig-tailed girl from Kansas" into "a brave warrior for good." TV Line said after she has been sent to the heartland - she will return to Oz looking to reclaim the land from the Wicked Witch, who was ejected by Regina from Storybrooke.
Now that Once Upon A Time winter finale is over, fans will not see the second half of the season until March. But there is still news to talk and it is about the return of Dorothy Gale to the show next year.
The Daily Voice News reported that Dorothy was last seen on her way out of Oz after she thought that she had melted the Wicked Witch, known as Zelena. On the winter finale of Once Upon a Time, Dorothy was sent back to Oz in a green tornado through the use of the magic power of her sister Regina.
Dorothy is back and will meet Zelena in Oz. But this time, Dorothy has grown up and she is going to become a "brave warrior." This may mean that Dorothy will drive away the witch out of Oz for good as she will be looking for revenge against Regina and will try to do anything to do just that.
Some may think that Dorothy will be transported back to Storybrooke. The previews of the second half of the season in which "the dead return to life," Regina, Emma, and everyone else will be leaving Storybrooke to go to the underworld to save Hook.
