Mary Kate Olsen has been spotted in New York City, her first appearance since her private wedding with French Banker, 49-year-old Olivier Sarkozy.

Many were surprised when she was seen sporting a simple gold wedding band while smoking and taking a break with her twin sister, Ashley Olsen.

But perhaps if you have a 1953 Cartier vintage having a 4-carat European-cut center stone, plus 16 calibré-cut sapphires surrounding it and about 1.5 carats of diamonds, you will not mind, too. These details were shared by People based on the listing at a Sotheby's auction. It was reportedy sold at $81,250. MK was without her engagement ring when she was snapped but she was seen out and about again wearing it on that occasion.

According to Page Six, the reception of the wedding was held at a private residence on 49th Street. Guests were served cocktails in a rear garden and attendees had to turn in their cellphones beforehand.

Party decor consisted of "bowls and bowls filled with cigarettes, and everyone smoked the whole night," Page Six source said.

The Olsens' "Full House" dad confirmed the wedding when he appeared on the Today's Show. He said he was not invited but happy for her.

"I was not invited, but I'm very happy and I sent a Mazel tov text," Bob Saget, 59, shared. "I'm very happy, I love her very much. I hope they're happy."

It can be recalled that the couple got engaged last year and have resided in New York. Olivier is the half-brother of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy. He has two kids from a previous marriage while this is Olsen's first time to tie the knot.

The Olsen twins rose to fame on the '90s sitcom "Full House" and both turned to fashion design and now own two fashion labels, The Row and Elizabeth and James.
