Viewers thought Kim Richards will not appear on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" season 6, as what earlier reports said. However, the reality star's sister, Kyle Richards, just confirmed Kim's comeback.

According to Daily Mail UK, Kyle believes that coming back to RHOBH would actually be helpful for her 51-year-old sister's recovery. "In a lot of ways, the show has saved Kim," the younger Richards said.

The 46-year-old reality star also mentioned that she understands people's apprehensions about Kim coming back to the show but she explained that "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" has more positive effects than negative ones on her troubled sibling. Kyle revealed that her older sister became more responsible in taking care of herself when she was a part of the Bravo reality series.

Meanwhile, aside from appearing in RHOBH season 6, Kim will also be a part of an upcoming family counseling reality series, as reported by Design & Trend. The show will revolve around the counseling of well-known mothers and their daughters who have gone through difficulties mainly caused by being public figures.

The said report also mentioned that the older Richards will be teaming up with her youngest daughter, Kimberly Jackson in the yet-to-be-named reality series. Other personalities rumored to be a part of the counseling show are "The Hills" mainstay, Heidi Montag, and her mom Darlene.

Kim has been in rehab facilities a few times and her 4th trip was in April of this year following her arrest at The Beverly Hills Hotel for public intoxication. The TV personality resisted arrest and was accused of battery during the incident.

In August, Richards, 51, was arrested again for allegedly shoplifting at a Target branch in California. Rumors then surfaced regarding her axing from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." However, Kim was seen filming with Yolanda Foster last month at Beverly Hill Park, which sparked speculations that she will be back in the show.

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is being aired on Bravo every Tuesday night.
