Things are going to change for the fifth installment of the "Transformers" franchise as it was recently reported that the film might not feature any human character and will focus on the robots instead.

According to Venture Capital Post, "Transformers 5" will be going back to their roots and will focus more on the history and the lives of the "mechanoids." Sources reveal that some fans of the robots think that the films have been focusing more on the humans and earth setting, which was why Hasbro has reportedly decided that there will be no human characters in the next film.

With this speculation, it was said that the setting of "Transformers 5" will not be on earth but will be in Cybertron, which is the home planet of the Autobots and the Decepticons. It was also speculated that this could be Optimus Prime's last movie as the film is set to focus on other members of the Autobots and Decepticons.

However, Enstarz reports that this could only be one part of the movie's storyline as it was reported that there will be two different storylines for "Transformers 5." According to Hasbro's president Stephen J. Davis, the initial script for the movie has already been completed, and Michael Bay will return to film it.

He added that they are also planning on creating three more sequels to the franchise. Voice actor Mark Ryan said in an interview that the movie will most likely feature two storylines, and the first will focus on Mark Wahlberg's Cade Yeager, while the second will focus on Optimus Prime as he looks for his creators.

According to the site, it was already confirmed that Wahlberg will return to "Transformers 5," but no other characters from the previous movies have confirmed their appearance yet. As of writing, there is still no official schedule for the release of the movie, but it is expected to premiere in 2017.
