"Thor: Ragnarok" will be the third installment to the "Thor" movie series and with a new scriptwriter hired by producers, many possibilities, including a female villain, could happen.

Chris Hemsworth, who recently got busy promoting his latest film "In the Heart of the Sea," answered a few questions about the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok" movie, said The Movie Network. The Australian actor was asked a question related to the rumors circulating about a possible female villain appearing in the Marvel film. He was asked who among his "Huntsman: Winter's War" female co-stars could be a perfect Marvel bad guy but the 32-year-old actor was too cautious to give a direct reply.

"They all have potential to scare the hell out of me, any of those women. I felt like the little brother, getting bossed around by these three women in the best way," Hemsworth replied. However, the "Thor" actor decided Jessica Chastain could be a suitable villain knowing fully well that the actress has not done much anti-hero roles compared to Charlize Theron and Emily Blunt.

With the rumors of a female villain, fans are already think which among the Marvel female villains could be added to the cast. Some had suggested it could be Loki's daughter, Queen Korda, Mic reported.

It is still too early to get any confirmations from the "Thor" team. Pre-production will start in early 2016 while filming will start mid-2016 in Australia. Meanwhile, Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki, has already confirmed he will be back for the third film. Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk will also make an appearance since the movie is partly about Thor and the green Marvel hero fighting against each other.

It is uncertain though if Stellan Skarsgard will be back as Dr. Erik Selvig and Natalie Portman was reported to have some altercations with the production when Patty Jenkins was axed from the director's chair so it is still unknown if the Award-winning actress will be back as Thor's love interest.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is slated to hit the cinemas on Nov. 3, 2017.
