Whatever you do, do not let muggles be angry at you. They might not have magic, but still.
Harry Potter author, J.K. Rowling, took it to Twitter, calling U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump, "How horrible. Voldemort was nowhere near as bad," then adding a BBC article with the tweet.
The commotion is about the recent call for "a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States."
Fans of the fantasy novel knew Rowling is serious, after all, Voldermort is the Dark Lord, and being the baddest of them all, being compared to him (worst than him) is basically saying you're the worst of them all.
The fans seems to side with Rowling with this one, some calling Trump "He who must not be president," a play on Voldemort's no-so-official jynx name, "He who must not be named."
According to a campaign press release from Trump, "Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on," posted by CNN.
Not only that the presidential candidate compared to Lord Voldemort, he's also compared as the next Adolf Hitler, by the Philidelphia Daily News. South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham also called Trump "a race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot" on CNN's program "New Day."
According to Trump, this action is temporary. "They want our buildings to come down; they want our cities to be crushed. They are living within our country. And many of them want to come from outside our country," he stated.
"I have common sense. I know what has to be done, and we don't want to have a situation like Paris. And we don't want to have another World Trade Center," he said.
Finally, he said,"We don't want that. We need intelligence in this country. We need a certain toughness in this country or we're going to end up like a lot of the other places and we're not going to have a country left."
