"Game of Thrones" fans are being placed at the edge of their seats as the next installment of "A Song of Fire and Ice" is currently on its way. While waiting for the upcoming series however, the author, George R.R. Martin has a way of having his fan entertained.
As per Yibada website, the writer released a prequel novella "A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms." The entire book is a compilation of three novellas entitled: "The Hedge Of Knight," "The Sworn Sword," and "The Mystery Knight."
Not only did the website dished out the book's title, Yabada also released major spoilers in regards to its contents. As per the website, the story would revolve on Westeros and how they lived in peace, which is in contrast to the vengeful, war driven recent "Game of Thrones" storyline.
It is an introduction for those who would want to know the roots of the entire novella, where in it would discuss the origin of the Westeros.
Ser Duncan The Tall who is a hedge knight known for being a drunk who is persistently thought of kingly virtues when he was a lad would be present in each novella. The website also stated Egg, who is a "shaven-headed bit of know-it-all lad" would also be one of the book's main character.
"A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms" spoilers include that Egg is Aegon Targaryen the whole time, which is the great grandfather of Daenerys in the story. It was stated that he'll be sitting in the Iron thrones as Aegon V as the story progress.
The adventures of Dunk and Egg will be the novellas' focus as they'd venture Seven Kingdoms as they search for the hearth and coin. In the latter part of the novella however both Dunk and Egg will be plotting on stealing a dragon's egg, which can leave them in jeopardy.
