Just like any other household, the White House has been busy with holiday preparations and celebrations. The first lady has recently opened her house to debut the gorgeous 2015 Christmas decors and design of their not so humble home, and welcomed families and children of military men. The president has been equally busy with running an entire country.

Still, both find the time to just relax and unwind as a couple. In a light moment during an interview with People, the two shared some of their favorite songs, movies and even TV shows this 2015 which they enjoy during their very little free time.

For movies, Barack and Michelle have very different tastes. The president shares that the movie he found to be the most interesting this year is 'The Martian,' which stars award winning actor Matt Damon. The movie is a drama that tells the story of an astronaut and the attempt to retrieve home after he had been left alone on Mars. For Michelle, she especially loved the animated emotion-filled movie 'Inside Out' this year.

The first lady apparently enjoys upbeat, high energy songs like Bruno Mar's Uptown Funk, which helps in her efforts to motivate kids to become more physically active. Her husband on the other hand says his current favorite song is Kendrick Lamar's 'How Much a Dollar Cost,' probably because of its timely message to focus more on the people who need help instead of succumbing into greed for power and money.

Barack guest starred in 'Running Wild with Bear Grylls,' an experience he said he had a great time doing. He also shared that he had never expected himself to appear in a TV show. This show does not fall under the couple's favorite TV programs though. You can catch them watching the comedy series 'Black-ish' this year as they revealed they both enjoy the family oriented comedy.
