"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" film will be premiered in the next few weeks. As it is getting closer, the fans started formulating theories on what would possibly happen in the film including the resurrection of one iconic character.
According to The Week, Darth Vader might be resurrected in the movie along with the other six characters. Based from the analysis, there will be cloning that will happen if the resurrection will not occur in the film. J.J. Abrams already mentioned through an interview that Kylo Ren has this obsession with Darth Vader. Because of that, he might possibly make a clone out of him.
"The movie explains the origins of [Kylo Ren's] mask and where it's from, but the designs were meant to be a nod to the Vader mask. [Ren] is well aware of what's come before, and that's very much a part of the story of the film," Abrams said.
He added, "The lightsaber is something that he built himself, and is as dangerous and as fierce and as ragged as the character."
"He is a character who came to the name Kylo Ren when he joined a group called the Knights of Ren. He is not your prototypical moustache-twirling bad guy. He is a little bit more complex than that, and it was a great joy to work with Adam Driver on this role, because he threw himself into it in a deep and remarkable way," Entertainment Weekly reported.
Aside from the higher chances of the Vader's rebirth theory, what the fans also suspected is there would be some echoes from the original trilogy that may be included in the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" film.
Abrams was very careful in sharing parts from the movie to prevent spilling the beans to the audience. He was even hesitant to share details with the media. He said that "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is a story which people would be called to step up which is a unique trait that Ren possesses. Another important detail he mentioned is the emphasis on two different sides of the Force.
"As you see in the best of storytelling, and no doubt the best of 'Star Wars,' these are tales in which every person has to step up. And I think that what makes Ren so unique is that he isn't as fully formed as when we meet a character as Darth Vader."
"And I think there are two sides to the Force. Both sides, arguably, would see themselves as the hero of their story, and I think that applies here," Abrams shared.
Other fan theories were also unveiled. The Week mentioned Jar Jar Binks might be the Sith Lord in which Abrams denied this claim; Luke Skywalker is Kylo Ren, Boba Fett, the fan favourite bounty hunter, is back; Finn is Lando and Leia's son, Rey and Kylo Ren are twins of either Luke or Leia.
These fan theories may likely appear on the film, they may not. However, the curiosity of the diehard "Star Wars" fans will be clarified this coming December 18 when the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" premieres.
