After creator Jason Rothenberg revealed some teasers in the past few months, the official short clip for "The 100" Season 3 was recently released, and it shows Clarke (Eliza Taylor) in a very dangerous situation.
According to Melty, Rothenberg revealed in his Twitter account that the teaser video is just a glimpse of what fans will be seeing in the official trailer of "The 100" Season 3, which will be released on Monday. In the teaser video, Clarke can be seen talking to an unknown woman, asking her about what happened in the Mountain. Clarke tells the woman that she did what she had to do. In the video, Clarke can be seen sporting a new look with red hair, which the site speculates could be the blood of the victims of the genocide that happened in Season 2.
In another scene, a Grounder army can be seen coming out of the forest. Den of Geek reports that Clarke is being hunted, as Indra (Adina Porter) tells the Sky People that everyone is now looking for Clarke. The last time the viewers saw the character was when she left the Sky People right before the battle at Mount Weather where she disowned Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) because the latter chose to stay and fight in the battle.
The teaser video also gives a glimpse of some of the action scenes to be expected in Season 3. There is also a scene where Jasper (Devon Bostick) can be seen crying, and some think that it could be because of Monty (Christopher Larkin) who was previously captured by Grounders, along with Bellamy (Bob Morley). In the video, Kane (Henry Ian Cusack) can be seen telling Bellamy not to ruin the peace that the Ark has finally secured with the Grounders.
"The 100" Season 3 will air on The CW on Jan. 21, 2016.
