Nicki Minaj, 33, flaunts her gigantic diamond ring on her Instagram post. Once again, it has sparked a great deal of gossip and assumptions about her engagement to her boyfriend, Meek Mill.
The engagement rumors are not new to the couple since Nicki has been seen flaunting big diamond rings before. Two months after they started dating around February, Nicki has been seen wearing a ring that was rumored to be an engagement ring.
Last April of this year, Nicki Minaj posted a photo on Twitter of her hand with a huge heart-shaped diamond ring as a centerpiece. It turned out that the April engagement was not an engagement ring. The Anaconda rapper seems to be enjoying all the attention from engagement ring rumors as she once again posts another picture of her wearing a huge diamond ring on Instagram, December 9.
According to Hollywood Life, Minaj confirms that the diamond ring was given to her by her boyfriend, Mill. Minaj told the reporter in an interview for Billboard, "He and I are not engaged," says Nicki.
Once again, the followers of Nicki were fooled by another engagement rumor. But the story does not end there. There is a reason why Mill has been giving Nicki rings. Nicki reveals that Mills has been giving her rings is his commitment to eventually marrying the female rapper. "He said he would like to give me three rings before we get married," Nicki explains to Billboard.
Nicki playfully suggests that the fans watch out for the future chain of events as she says, " "My birthday's coming up, and he better get the new one, because he got [the first one] for my last birthday. So let's see what happens," in her interview with Billboard.
So far, Mill has given Nicki two rings. They may not be there yet, but judging from the pattern of the first and second ring, it has high chances of a wedding happening very soon.
