Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's on and off screen chemistry will be on hold for a while after the former No Doubt frontwoman claimed that she's taking a break from the "The Voice" to focus on her singing career. As expected, her newfound love was devastated by the news.

While the group was talking to "Extra" to discuss about the plans for the show and their final four contestants, Gwen became the focus of attention. The mother of three will be taking a hiatus from the show's next season to give more time to her singing career. During her break from the show, she will go on tours and live shows. However, to do this, Blake and Gwen will be separated for the meantime in the singing competition as Christina Aguillera returns to replace her, Us Weekly reports.

I don't [want] Gwen to not be on the show," Shelton admitted in an interview, according to Refinery29. "Why can't we have a fifth coach?"

When asked what Gwen will be doing after leaving the popular NBC show, the "Used To Love" singer admitted that she has lined-up shows to focus on. "What am I gonna do? I'm gonna put out my record and do some shows," Stefani said, hinting a possible tour.

Blake and Gwen's cute chemistry will definitely be missed by their fans. After they recently admitted their romance, their fans started to enjoy watching the new couple on screen. Who will Gwen miss?

The 46-year-old replied that she will be missing the chemistry of all the judges in the show. Gwen confessed that she's sad and hurt by her temporary departure from the show as she will miss her fellow coaches, Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine and Blake.

As Blake and Gwen's romance heats up, the country singer's ex-wife Miranda Lambert is said to be unhappy with the two coaches' ridiculous flirtation on the "Voice." Life and Style Mag reports that the "Automatic" singer no longer watch the show as she reportedly feels that everything is so fake. A source claimed that Miranda is over Blake's flirting and gushing about Gwen. At this point in time, she reportedly just wants to finalize the divorce process.

Blake and Gwen started to have PDAs before the CMA Awards in November. Since then, Miranda has been lonely and distressed at how fast her ex-husband moved on from her.

Meanwhile, Miranda's upcoming album is said to be her revenge to her former husband as she's going to reveal what really caused their split.
