Before Tom Hiddleston entered the picture of being the rumored romance of his "I Saw The Light" co-star Elizabeth Olsen, the actress had a three-year relationship with "Narcos" actor Boyd Holbrook.
The 34-year-old ex-beau of Olsen now breaks silence regarding his broken engagement and relationship with the actress as detailed in the article of Inquisitr. Holbrook says that he regards his breakup with Olsen similar to "divorce" and that the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" actress chose to break the "Narcos" star's heart on one of his dark days.
"Holbrook says that he had been romantically involved with Olsen for more than three years and that the couple had been engaged, so it may not be surprising to learn that Boyd felt like the break-up was more like a real divorce," according to Inquisitr. "Holbrook says that the worst part of his split from Elizabeth was the day that she chose to do it. He had just received word that his best friend, photographer David Armstrong, had died, when Elizabeth called to end their relationship."
The "Narcos" actor even detailed as quoted from his People Magazine interview that he had experienced appreciation from simple things around after his breakup with Olsen and the death of his good friend took a turn on his life.
"I was consumed with own personal depression, my own personal scenario at the time," Holbrook said. "What happened over the course of the journey is that I started noticing the different types of trees. I started noticing the beauty, the details."
Holbrook met the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" actress when they both starred in a romance drama movie entitled "Very Good Girls" in 2012 and the two officially announced their engagement in March 2014. But after ten months, Olsen called off the engagement last Jan. this year.
