"Fable Legends" is one of the most exciting Xbox One games set for release before the end of the year by Lionhead Studios. However, the fans who were kept waiting for its launching will be disappointed due to some setback.

The game won't be released until sometime in 2016.

Until this time, the Open Beta has not even started to test whether the game is good to go or not. The open beta will be scheduled in the coming spring of 2016, iDigitalTimes reported. According to Lionhead Studios, the game developing team who's working on this game for a long time, faced some troubles in the middle resulting to this inevitable decision.

The report stated that the game developer released a new announcement regarding its updates on "Fable Legends" release. They clearly stated that there are still a lot to do to make the game better. So, they need a few extra months to polish the game before they could set the open beta for the gamers to try.

"To be honest, we didn't anticipate just how big 'Fable Legends' is becoming ... We've built a unique and innovative multiplayer experience combining the RPG and RTS gameplay," Lionhead Studios added, "On top of this, we've built a beautiful new world full of grand stories and adventures. And it's taking more time than we thought."

In light of that announcement, Lionhead Studios gave some good news! They said that they will be extending the number of players to test the game. They added more seats with an additional 10,000 fans.

The invitation will start next week so that means the "Fable Legends" fans should keep themselves updated for Lionhead Studios' announcements regarding the open beta testing in 2016.

"Fable Legends" is developed for Xbox One and PC platforms. According to the same source, the fans could expect official game debut sometime 2016.
