Marvel Studios has confirmed that they have already began the production of "Doctor Strange," featuring lead star Benedict Cumberbatch together with Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel Adams and Michael Stuhlbarg. The cast and crew is slated to shoot in London, NY, Hong Kong and Nepal. Meanwhile, Cumberbatch has landed another magician role, as he is set play to the lead in the movie "The War Magician."

The "Doctor Strange" movie is included in the 3rd Phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as mentioned on Marvel's official website. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange, who discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions after losing the capabilities of his hands from an accident.

Since the film is slated for a Nov. 4, 2016 release, the movie has already began its production and will be shot in several other locations around the world including New York, London, Hong Kong and Kathmandu, Nepal.

Cumberbatch, meanwhile, has landed another lead magician lead role in the movie "The War Magician." The film will take fans back to World War 2 featuring the story of British magician Jasper Maskelyne, played by Cumberbatch. He used his deceptive skills and illusions to help the fight against the Naziz. Disgusing tanks, blinding the enemy with mirrors, the illusion of fake armies and a non-existent harbor are just some of the magic tricks Cumberbatch will showcase in the movie, Yahoo Singapore reports.

Cumberbatch's rose to fame began with his portrayal of Sherlock in the TV series "Sherlock Holmes." He was married to Sophie Hunter earlier this year and also starred in movies "Star Trek Into Darkness," "12 Years a Slave," "The Imitation Game" and as the Necromancer in the "Hobbit" movie series.
