Kim Kardashian speaks up about eating her own placenta after giving birth to her second child, Saint. The reality star posted in her blog about her thoughts on this method, as was reported by E! Online.

"So, I'm really not this holistic person or someone who would have ever considered eating my placenta. I actually thought Kourtney would have soooo done this, but I don't think she did. And when I say 'eat my placenta,' I mean that I'm having it freeze-dried and made into a pill form—not actually [to] fry it like a steak and eat it (which some people do, BTW)," posted Kardashian.

Her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, also did consume her own placenta after the birth of her third child, Reign.

Kim added, "I heard so many stories when I was pregnant with North of moms who never ate their placenta with their first baby and then had postpartum depression but then when they took the pills with their second baby, they did not suffer from depression! So I thought, why not try it? What do I have to lose?"

"I really didn't want the baby blues and thought I can't go wrong with taking a pill made of my own hormones—made by me, for me. I started researching and read about so many moms who felt this same way and said the overall healing process was so much easier," relates Kim.

Kim has posted on Twitter a jar of her placenta pills, that redirects the story to her app, but you have to unlock it and pay $2.99 per month to be able to read her blog entries.

Although this isn’t the first time that Kim will be consuming her placenta. She also did this after giving birth to her first child, North.

According to Us Magazine, Saint will probably be the last child for Kim and her husband, Kanye West. It was mentioned by a source that if ever they would want another baby, they would contact a surrogate.
