Two months to go and fans of "Games of Thrones" will be delighted to watch the comeback of the HBO hit series on Feb. 2016. While many are still speculating on what will happen on the sixth installment of the series, it was reported that the production and the crew of "Games of Thrones" situated in Northern Ireland is already packing up shooting.
Yibada reports that Dec. 17 was the actual schedule of wrapped up shooting for the said location in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. Meanwhile in other parts of Ireland, the packed up schedule is said to be next week.
"S6 Locale Corbet, Banbridge Ireland. Outdoor Riverrun set excluding the castle front all packed up and gone," based from a fan tweet from the publication.
As hinted, the location site for Banbridge was mainly used for the scenes that will highlight the "Siege of Riverrun" and include appearances of actors Gwendoline Christie and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau for the coming together of their characters Jaime Lannister and Brienne of Tarth to prepare for their battle with the Tullys.
Meanwhile, the outlet also reports of Mark Gatiss who portrays the role of Tycho Nestori, a member of the Iron Bank of Braavos was unsuccessful in reprising his role for the sixth season of "Game of Thrones."
One major character in "Game of Thrones" though that fans are still speculating to come back is Jon Snow which is played by actor Kit Harington. The latest news that Independent scooped about the character is that Kit Harrington was spotted "back" in a shooting location in Northern Ireland together with Carice van Houten, the actress playing Melisandre who is known as the Red Witch.
Previously, Jon Snow who was stabbed multiple times in GoT season 5 finale was rumored to be brought back to life by Melisandre in the upcoming installment. Although, this is still a speculation, the thought of seeing Kit Harington in the location is a good sign that the actor may be seen on "Games of Thrones" season 6.
