"Samsung Galaxy A9" is reportedly joining the recently announced Samsung Galaxy A lineup for 2016 (A3, A5, A7). The said "Samsung Galaxy A9" recently had its images leaked and is anticipated for an end of month launch.

The leaks suggest that the "Samsung Galaxy A9" will come with a six inch screen with Super AMOLED display and 1080p resolution. The chipset is expected to be a Snapdragon 620 chip and the RAM would be a satisfying 3 GB RAM. The chip offers an octa core 1.8 GHz processor with 4x Cortex A53 and 4x Cortex A72 cores. The GPU used in the phone is the Adreno 510 GPU.

The "Samsung Galaxy A9" will follow the A3, A5, and A7 trend and will have a metal framebuild and 2.5D dual glass panels. Furthermore with the specs, the "Samsung Galaxy A9" will sport a 13 MP rear cam with OIS and f/1.9 aperture. The front cam will be an 8 MP one and the phone will support panoramic images. The internal storage will be 32 GB and it will be expandable via a microSD slot. The phone has LTE network support and it will come with a huge 4000 mAh battery. With a battery size that big, the phone is touted to carry power bank capacities. But the "Samsung Galaxy A9" is expected to launch with Android Lollipop 5.1.1 OS instead of the more welcomed Android Marshmallow, so some of the great features may not come with the phone from the box.

Fortunately though, the "Samsung Galaxy A9" comes with Samsung Pay support and it also has a fingerprint scanner. And though the phone will natively run Lollipop, Marshmallow will be coming its way pretty soon too. As for the device's release date and price, it is expected that the "Samsung Galaxy A9" will be made available within the Holidays or early January. Price-wise it's at CNY 3000 at China, so it's around 430 Euro when converted.
