The "LG V10" is clearly one of the biggest surprise flagships of 2015, not only because of its premium look and feel, but primarily because of LG's beyond-the-line experimentation with the phone. As surprising as it may be, V10's second screen isn't the only unique and fun part the phone has. LG managed to add more things to their flagship phone to make it stand up above others in terms of features. Here are some of the "LG V10" features that you will most certainly love:
First, the multi window features - these are the kinds of features that are uber useful and long overdue on phablets. There is a split screen feature to use two apps on your screen. There is also the QSlide apps which is launched from the notifs drawer. The QSlide apps are floating window versions of your core apps like the calendar, calculator, file manager, etc.
Then there's the one hand mode where the screen reduces its size so you can use your phone using just one hand. We have heard users complain every time a phablet gets launched, saying that companies keep producing phones that are too big for one hand to navigate. So here goes LG's solution, the one hand mode for your phablet.
Furthermore with the V10's positively amusing features, there is the call minimizing technique that you can use to open up apps while on a call and easily hang up wherever you are on your phone. This decreases the inconvenience you go through when you need to open up Notes, Calendar, or Contacts while you are speaking with someone on your phone. Thanks to the second screen, you don't have to pull down the notifications tray anymore when it's time to hang up.
Apart from the major upgrades LG brings to your regular smartphone, the company also maximized what you can get from simple built-in apps like your calculator. In "LG V10", the calculator received a minor but extremely useful addition which is the History. You can track back your previous computations and even if you close your app, your recent results are still in there.
It really looks like LG knows what the user needs. And as other companies focus on big feature additions, LG did not forget to give us the small ones that actually create a big difference when it comes to convenience. Aside from the calculator history feature, the "LG V10" also allows for easy messaging when you're in the Contacts section. Sure, all phones allow for message sending when you open a contact, but in "LG V10", the text button is right next to your contact's name. Meaning, you no longer need to hit 'options' and scroll down to the 'Send Message' button to write an SMS. With "LG V10", it would be as simple as choosing a contact and hitting the envelope icon.
Furthermore with the minor but extremely useful "LG V10" features, here comes the clipboard upgrade. "LG V10" remembers not only the last thing that you copied, but also the previous nine other items that you copied. Be it text, images, or screenshots, "LG V10" gives you your 10 latest copied items. It may look like a simple addition, but wait 'til you forget to paste an important item and then copied a new one.
For a slightly high-tech smartphone upgrade, "LG V10" comes with the QRemote feature that gives you quick access to the phone's remote app. And using the IR blaster, you can already control some of your home appliances or electronics such as the aircon and the TV.
Furthermore, LG did not forget the hassle you go though when you have to take a selfie in low light. Other phones came up with a front flash, which is actually kind of nice too but can be quite painful to the eye when flashed closely. "LG V10", on the other hand, has this feature where the camera screen decreases in size and fills the rest of the display with bright light, allowing you to take a bright selfie in a dark environment.
Those are actually just some of the many great features the "LG V10" comes with. Overall, the phone's second screen may look like a bad attempt to create a gimmick, but actually, the second screen is but a minor addition to the LG phone. "LG V10" is full of good features that you'll be thankful you have.
