"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" premiered on Monday night. The diehard fans who were waiting for the main event exited with "smiling faces."

The Guardian reported that the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was shown for the first time on Monday night in Los Angeles and it was mentioned that the film might well recoup at least half of the $4 billion invested by Disney from the initial reactions of the audience alone.

Matthew Belloni, one of the journalists from the Hollywood Reporter, tweeted "Star Wars premiere just letting out now. A LOT of smiling face #StarWarsForceAwakens." He was one of the first who shared thoughts about the premiere on social media.

After his tweet, series of tweets from critics followed like Rainn Wilson who said, "1st Star Wars Review: it was epic, awesome & perfect. The cast was stellar. JJ killed it!"  This post aligned with Amy Hennig's tweet as well.

Aside from the film critics, Finding Nemo director Andrew Stanton also acknowledged J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars" masterpiece. "How was Star Wars? Great. Nothing more to say. Just go. #spoilerfree" Elizabeth Hanks, Hunger Games actor and Pitch Perfect director also said the same.

J.J. Abrams nailed the new "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." A  lot of the critics, co-directors, and celebrities praised him including all his hard work on the awesome film. Disney executives also thought that what they have invested for the film which cost as high as $4 billion is paid off by just seeing the reactions of the people after watching the movie.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" premiered on Monday night and will be shown on different cinemas in the next couple of days. Fans around the globe should check further updates about the schedule of film releases in their regions.
