Looks like Blake Shelton won't be able to make it to next year's Academy of Country Music Awards. He hosted ACM this year alongside Luke Bryan. News emerged that Shelton stepped down and left Bryan in search of a new co-host. His reason for leaving wasn't stated, but fans are a bit bummed that they won't be able to witness the goofy ACM host.
Blake may have left the show, but Bryan has ample of time to look for a new co-host as the awards would take place April of next year. However, it only took Bryan a couple of months to find a new replacement.
The upcoming awards night is supposedly the third year of Bryan and Shelton to work as co-hosts. As for next year's AMC awards, Dierks Bentley will be the one to work with Bryan.
As per Fox News on one of his statements, Bryan openly shared that having Dierks on the show with him with be fun. He also shared that fans will be treated with a surprise.
"When we found ourselves searching for a new co-host I didn't have to look much further than my own circle of friends so Dierks was a natural choice, We have a lot of fun together and I know the fans will be in for something special."
Dierks Bentley then posted a Tweet announcing that he will be joining Luke Bryan to host the Academy of Country Music Awards with his pal, Luke Bryan.
