"Assassin's Creed Syndicate: Jack the Ripper" DLC has rolled out on Dec. 15, Tuesday.  The event was previously announced by Ubisoft. The game will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.  The PC platform version will be released on Dec. 22.

The "Assassin's Creed Syndicate: Jack the Ripper" DLC announcement was made by Ubisoft a few days ago, and was paired with the game's trailer on the official YouTube channel of "Assassin's Creed."

The "Assassin's Creed Syndicate: Jack the Ripper" game is set 20 years after the proceedings of "Assassin's Creed Syndicate," a time when London is being terrorized by one of the most mysterious killers of all time.  Players will be returning as Evie Frye, who comes back to London, armed with a new set of skills, and with the task to investigate the gruesome murders, Gamespot reported.

The "Assassin's Creed" franchise fans will surely enjoy the upcoming DLC.  There is now a fear system in place, which is expected to provide a new level of gameplay.  Players can scare away their opponents or use friendly fire to their advantage, PlayStation Blog reported.

"Assassin's Creed Syndicate: Jack the Ripper" DLC can also be availed by Season Pass holders, who will then be entitled to additional perks from the "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" game.  This includes several mission packs, such as The Last Maharaja, Long Night, and the Streets of London gameplay packs. Plus, two top-tier sets of gears and weapons, and a permanent 5% XP boost, are also included.

The "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" was released by Ubisoft in October and is a historical action-adventure open world stealth video game. The game has received positive reviews for the visuals and the gameplay itself. The game was nominated for the Best Action/Adventure Game in the recently concluded The Game Awards 2015.

"Assassin's Creed Syndicate: Jack the Ripper" DLC alone is available for $14.99.  Another option is to avail the "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" Season Pass, available for $29.99.
