Natalie Portman will do well as a First Lady. She exudes grace, beauty and brains-that is why she will definitely give justice to her portrayal of Jacquelyn Onassis Kennedy.

The first-photo of the "Star Wars" and "Black Swan" actress as Jackie Kennedy has been obtained exclusively by E! News and not only she looks stunning, she's also the spitting image of the iconic figure. The upcoming film will revolve around the days immediately following President John F. Kennedy's assassination way back in 1963.

From the impeccable flip to the effortlessly stunning crimson suit, the costume, hair and makeup, have that classic, of-the-era look down to a tee and it could not be done any better.

Taking on a role of someone is a challenge enough, all the more of it is one of the most famous persons the world has loved and admired but Portman will slay it and fans cannot wait how it will turn out.

Over the years, aside from Portman, dozens of actresses have taken the role of Jackie Kennedy, a first lady turned publisher and socialite.

E! News adds that such actresses include Katie Holmes, for her role in the controversial 2011 Reelz miniseries "The Kennedys." There is also Ginnifer Goodwin in TV movie "Killing Kennedy," based on the book by Bill O'Reilly in 2013.

In addition, can anybody remember Roma Downey playing Jackie in the 1991 TV adaptation of the bestselling biography "A Woman Named Jackie?" She was still using her maiden name then. Or how about Jill Hennessy in 2001's "Jackie, Ethel, Joan: The Women of Camelot," with Lauren Holly playing Bobby Kennedy's wife, Ethel?

Jezebel reports that the former first lady had a reputation for being well dressed, and counted Givenchy, Chanel, Balenciaga and Dior among her favorite designers.

"Jackie," directed by Pablo Larraín and with a screenplay by Noah Oppenheim, is due out in 2017. Filming is ongoing in Paris and it will also star Peter Saarsgard, Greta Gerwig, Max Casella and John Hurt.
