A teaser for the 2016 anime movie ‘One Piece Film-Gold' has began streaming in the official website of ‘One Piece Film-Gold.'
According to the report of Anime News Network, the new character designed by the manga author Eiichiro Oda, dubbed as the 'mysterious man,' was revealed by the second 2016 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. More details about the new character was announced to be revealed in the next issue of the magazine.
Eiichiro Oda is going to be the executive producer of the new film, while Hiroaki Miyamoto will serve as the director. Japanese novelist Tsutomu Kuroiwa is going to be in-charge of the script.
Crunchyroll reported that the ‘One Piece Film Gold' features Luffy as the mythical hero, and "Golden Boy" hero Kintaro, will be shown in Japan on July 23. Advance tickets for the new anime film will be available starting on Dec. 18. Buyers of the advance tickets will receive a clear file with a "Gold Kintaro Luffy" character design.

One Piece is based from the manga by Eiichiro Oda. The story revolves around Monkey D Luffy, who ate the devil fruit "Gomu-Gomu" that bestowed it the power to stretch, extend and expand like a rubber in exchange for his ability to swim. Luffy together with his crew, travels along treacherous seas in search for the great pirate treasure, ‘One Piece,' that was left by the Pirate King Gol D Roger.
At present,the manga and anime adaptation of One Piece is still on-going. According to One Piece Wikia, the hit series has already produced 13 movies (including the ‘One Piece Film-Gold), eight TV Specials, and three OVA's.
