LL Cool J has been named the 2016 Grammy Awards host.

According to E! Online, the Grammy award winner will be returning to the Grammy stage to be the host of the prestigious award show.

The Recording Academy President/CEO Niel Portnow said, "We are delighted to welcome back the very talented LL Cool J as our host for the 58th Grammys. His unique expertise, both as a Grammy-winning recording artist and accomplished actor, allows him to connect with both his musical peers and the fans at home, and his dynamic personality and charismatic energy set the perfect tone for our show."

This will be the fifth consecutive appearance of the rapper. "The performances and moments that take place on the Grammy stage are awesome in so many ways for the audience and artists alike. I'm honored once again to host Music's Biggest Night as we celebrate the talented music creators of today. It's going to be an incredible night and I'm excited to share this experience with the world," said LL Cool J.

The 2016 Grammy Awards show is the biggest award for the people in music. Some stars share their excitement over their nominations. Newcomers Tori Kelly, Sam Hunt, and Charlie Puth all have been nominated for the first time.

Country turned Pop singer Taylor Swift leads the list of the most number of nominations this year.

Award snubs are also natural with the award giving body. Nick Jonas didn’t receive any nomination for his highly anticipated album as well as Carly Rae Jepsen, though both have received a commercial success on their respective albums.

RnB singer Omarion also tweeted about the snub. "Even though people act like its easy to make a hit (& it's not). As an artist you look forward to being acknowledged by the game. The odds have always been against me. I constantly prove you wrong. I'll consistently do great things & you will have to celebrate me. This isn't a(n) 'im upset' (post to be) rant. This is a(n)- ok so that wasn't good enough. I'll be back. Have my Grammy's ready...The game has long changed since I was introduced to it. They want to still treat me like I'm a new to this. My moment is coming trust," said Omarion.

The Grammy’s will be premiering on Feb. 15, 2016.
