Jennifer Lawrence made a casual remark on Monday night on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" which made Lindsay Lohan take the remark "not too kindly."
Lawrence told Colbert during his late night night show, "I'm a puker. I don't stop working because I am a show pony. I don't have a choice. So I just keep going until my body is like, 'If we don't make her barf or pass out, she won't stop.' I get like, Lindsay Lohan-grade exhaustion, but without any drugs or alcholol. I'm always in bed early. I'm still tired."
This remark didn't make Lindsay Lohan or her family happy, ABC News reported. Lindsay's little sister, Aliana Lohan tweeted on Wednesday in response to Lawrence's remark saying, "I never breathe life into negativity. But I stand by my family. Disappointed in Jennifer Lawrence. Not Cool. @lindsaylohan"
She added, "You lost a fan." Lindsay Lohan was grateful to what her sister did on social media. In response to Aliana, she said, "Thank you sister .. Maybe who you're referring to should learn to support from other like #mayaangelou."
On Jennifer Lawrence, Lindsay Lohan tweeted with an attached photo from Maya Angelou's saying, "You may shoot me with your words, you may cut me with your eyes, you may kill me with your hatefulness, but still, like air, I'll rise." The image was an orange-filled sky from the sunset on the star's tweet.
Dina Lohan, Lindsay's mom, said "We love Jennifer Lawrence, we have always been fans of hers. It was all unfortunate that she used Lindsay as a reference of not showing up to set, and that whole bit.
"It was disappointing that she didn't have her peers' back. You shouldn't trash anyone, it was just surprising. My family sticks together."
At the moment, there was no comment heard from reps of the Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence.
