iOS 9 version jailbreaking is similar to playing hide and seek. Apple keeps on hiding the ways to jailbreak it, while Pangu and other Chinese-based teams keep seeking it. With the latest iOS 9.2 out in the open, how long will it take before a jailbreak tool gets developed for it?

iOS jailbreaking tool, the latest developed by Pangu, was the Pangu 9 for the iOS 9.0.1 and 9.0.2.  Many were able to jailbreak that version because of the tool.  However, iOS 9.1 was immediately released because of several issues with the previous version.  Along with the fixes, additional security features were added by Apple. This rendered the Pangu 9 tool ineffective, Christian Today reported.

iOS 9.1 also came with several minor bugs and that is why, iOS 9.2 came along.  In a short amount of time, an additional layer of security might have been added onto the iOS.  However, this does not affect hackers like Pangu to stop working.  There are some reports that the hacking group is close to developing one already for iOS 9.2, Yibada reported.

Many still do prefer performing a jailbreak on their iPhones, so that they can install and load up pirated apps. Many do not want to pay the fees associated to many of the apps, so, this is their preferred way.

Other Pangu jailbreaking reports have said that they are still looking for that particular weak spot in iOS 9.1 and 9.2, to be able to create the jailbreak tool. There is currently no definite information on the hacking tool availability.  The Pangu team, on the other hand, is ready with it and use the element of surprise in unleashing their latest version.  They may still be checking if the cost is clear, making sure that Apple will not be able to deploy another update immediately and render their tool ineffective again.
