The cast of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote their highly anticipated film. Ellen couldn't seem to contain herself and asked her guests right away if there was a possibility of romance budding in the film, a report from E! Online said.
The multi-awarded talk show host asked her guests, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac to spill the juicy romantic details just before the day the movie premiered in theatres, "Just one quick question and the movie comes out tomorrow, so we're all gonna know anyway you might as well tell us now." She quickly added, "Any romance between these characters that we will see and if you lie to me I'll be mad."
Breakout star Oscar Isaac replied, "I think it's very subtle romance that's happening." He said, "You have to just look very closely you have to watch it a few times to see the little hints but there was. At least, I was playing romance. In the cockpit I was playing, there was a deep romance there."
Boyega on the other hand, plays Finn, the lead character in the movie. He explains that Finn is far too busy to worry about romance. "See, Finn is not the romantic guy right now," he explains. "He's always sweating and panting or running. He doesn't really have time for that."
Finally, it was the lone lady in the group who gave a hint. Ridley plays Rey in the film and of course fans look forward to Rey hooking up with any of the guys.
"We shall see," Ridley teased. "Not necessarily, but it's exciting to say 'we shall see.'"
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opens today December 18 in selected theaters. Millions of fans can't wait to see the first of a new trilogy of this very popular franchise after 10 long years.
