Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have finalized their conscious uncoupling, but the latest report about the former couple seems to contradict their current status. It is said that the duo spent the night together at the Paltrow's house following Martin's breakup with Jennifer Lawrence.

Sources reveal that Paltrow and Martin's sleepover triggered rumors that they might have planned to rekindle their old flame. It was allegedly the time that the Coldplay singer broke up with the "Hunger Games" star, which seemed to suggest that he was venting on his ex-wife. However, sources revealed that the two were together in one room! They have remained amicable since their split, and it seems that there's still spark betwen the two of them, the site added.

"Chris recently spent the night at Gwyneth's and they slept on the same bed," a source said. However, Paltrow "really seemed like she was over him."

Paltrow and Martin have been romantically linked to Brad Falchuk and to actress Annabelle Wallis respectively, but Radar Online reports that their relationships with them are not really serious. The site alleged that their present relationship won't stop Gwen from coming back to her estranged husband. Sources said that Paltrow is a lot more expressive of her feelings toward Martin now than when they were together.

A separate report from Movie News Guide says that Martin's relationship with his rumored girlfriend Wallis is a bit shaky at the moment. He is reportedly too busy for her right now especially that he's coming out with a new track, "Everglow," which he had written with Paltrow.

The former couple penned the song, and his ex contributed helped finish the lyrics. According to Martin, his former wife gave him an idea as the track talks about sadness when somebody departs. In this case, she helped him when she shared her feelings when her father died.

Back in July, Paltrow shared a touching message at the #BlogHer15 conference in New York when she served as the event's keynote speaker, New York Daily News reports. The 43-year-old food writer revealed what she told her kids when she and Martin separated in 2014. "I'm very, very lucky that I have a partner who's willing to do it with me in a really collaborative way," she said. "Fortunately, even though we couldn't stay in a romantic relationship, our values are very much around the importance of family and the importance of those relationships."
