Samsung is unstoppable when it comes to releasing best-selling smartphones. After giving us two devices this year, rumors of the Samsung Galaxy S7 hitting the market next year have been circulating, along with details as to what this future blockbuster could offer.

According to Digital Trends, the successor of Galaxy S6 has the codename 'Project Lucky,' an obvious word play since number 7 is often associated to the word 'lucky.'

The most recent revelation is that Samsung wants to optimize its TouchWiz feature so they hired Google engineers. As of now, Samsung has not given any response to this rumor but if the reports are true, then this could mean quicker Android software updates for Samsung mobiles next year.

Some speculations in the tech world include the news that S7 will most likely become a 'family' as a tech writer and reporter Evan Blass posted a photo of the alleged names of the s7 devices. Another says that though Samsung might rehash the design of S6, it will focus more on boosting the new device's quality and features. An eye scanning technology might also be in the works according to Wall Street Journal, probably to strengthen biometric authentication after including a fingerprint sensor in their previous phone.

Other details the tech giant is allegedly working are the sound quality and phone camera. The upcoming model will have an audo that will have a high quality audio-phile- grade D/a converter. Meanwhile, the phone will have a powerful 20-megapixel Isocell camera.

In terms of pricing, Chinese analyst Pan Jiutang predicts that Galaxy S7 will have a lower price to compete with the much lower cost mobile phones on the market. He guesses it would be at least less than $600, which would hopefully up the tech company's sales.

The next major mobile phone from Samsung is said to be released early next year according to a report from ET News.
