"Star Wars" fans are definitely gearing up for the first day release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in theatres. While you're waiting in line, you might be interested to know that Bill Hader is the man to thank for BB-8's voice.

HitFix writer Drew McWeeny first noticed a familiar name next to the "BB-8 Vocal Consultant" credit: "Saturday Night Live" alum Bill Hader. Of course, McWeeny had to reach out to the "Trainwreck" star to ask what "vocal consultant" actually means:

"J.J. [Abrams was] f-king around with this sound effects app on his iPad that was attached to a talk box operated by me. It looked ridiculous but it made BB-8's vice. At first I tried doing a voice, but we all agreed it sounded too human."

But according to People, it BB-8's voice wasn't all done by Bill Hader. "House of Lies" star Ben Schwartz apparently was a vocal consultant for the new character, too, and actually had a lot to say about it.

After Chris E. Hayner tweeted Schwartz for his role in the film, Ben simply replied: "You're looking at a bonafide BB8 voice over consultant. And nothing makes me happier. This movie is amazing."

"Quite possibly the hardest and coolest secret I've ever had to keep. BB8 voice over consultant #ForceAwakens," he tweeted on Wednesday.

He continued with another tweet, "It's been a very fun day of finally being able to tell my friends the news #ForceAwakens #BB8"

Apparently, this isn't the first time Hader has worked with J.J. Abrams. In fact, Bill actually did voiceover work for Abrams' "Star Trek Into Darkness" as well. According to E! News, Hader lent his voice as the USS Vengeance starship's computer voice.

Watch out for Bill Hader and Ben Schwartz's hard work in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" when it hits theatres today.

Bill Hader net worth is $8 million.
