It is undeniable that the Huawei Watch is probably one of the best looking smartwatch that has ever been released. It's clear that 2015 has seen some of the best smartwatch. In fact, this year may have been invaded by such wearables. Almost every smartphone manufacturer has released their very own wearable to represent their brands on the market. As for Huawei, it looks like their Huawei Watch has seen some good sales this year, 'cause rumor has it, the manufacturer is up for a second generation watch later next year.

The 2016 release of a Huawei Watch could also come with a standalone model with cellular connection that would allow users to use the watch as if it were a mobile phone. Meaning, making and taking phone calls could be done even without a paired mobile phone. This may not be a revolutionary step within the smartwatch world, as Samsung already have the "Samsung Gear S" and "Samsung Gear S2" that offer this feature. However, these Samsung wearables are powered by Tizen. LG's "Watch Urbane 2nd Edition" was gonna be the first Android Wear to offer cellular connections but there were display issues with the device which forced the company to cancel its release. So if Huawei pursues the standalone watch for 2016, it shall be the first Android Wear to offer cellular connectivity without mobile phone pairing - that is, if no other company rushes to do it first.

Furthermore, Huawei is also rumored to announce a ladies' smartwatch during their 2016 CES event in Las Vegas. This smartwatch is expected to come with more feminine bands and will have a rounder and more sophisticated case. Watch faces are also expected to be more feminine. If true, this should be good news for women who crave for a fashionable and useful wearable. However, these are just rumors and the only way to confirm these is by waiting for the CES event that will start on January 6, 2016 and will run through January 9.
