The mid-season finale of Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," posted a lot of questions, which is why actor Bret Dalton talked about his character's new persona and his fate when the show returns.

In "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 3 episode 10, Coulson (Clark Gregg) was able to kill Dalton's character, Ward, with his robotic hand. Despite fans thinking that this could be the end for the villain, Ward's body was then taken over by an inhuman, and the mid-season finale episode showed that Ward was able to escape to Earth though the portal.

Christian Post reports that Dalton talked about his new character in the show and said that he will return as a new persona. He explained that now that an inhuman has taken over his body, he will not be Ward the Hydra member anymore and will instead be called Ward 2.0.

Dalton revealed that the mysterious creature living inside his body is something that that "has been occupying this other dimension." He also added that there have been monuments built for this particular creature, and it was Hydra's mission to bring the creature back to earth.

Dalton also said that the Ward viewers know will not return when the show comes back in March since it is no longer motivated by revenge. He described the new creature inside him as someone who can access all the memories of its host.

Meanwhile, Latin Post reports that show creator Jed Whedon and executive producer Jeff Bell revealed in an interview that what happened in the mid-season finale will affect Coulson, and he will never be the same way again once the show returns. He explained that it will be hard for Coulson to deal with what he did, and he will have a bigger moral burden now that he is in a darker place.

Marvel "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 3 episode 11 will air on March 8 on ABC.
