Staying humble and professional in Hollywood isn't always a problem for some actors as they'd manage to keep their feet grounded. Of which is Theo James from "The Divergent Series: Allegiant". As per Yibada, during one of his interviews, James makes it a point to envision himself as an actor and not a celebrity.
During an interview with Flickering Myth, James was asked on what challenges that he'd find most difficult to deal with as an actor. "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" actor then shared the importance of knowing the difference between being an actor and a celebrity.
"To be honest, one thing that's trickier is what's happening now with how connected we are globally is the blurring of the lines between being an actor as your job and being a celebrity. That is tricky. Some people embrace it, some people like and props to them if it works for them."
He then placed on emphasis on having acting as his job. He would always put it in mind that even when someone would walk up to him on a bar, any social event, he would continually remind himself as an actor, and not a celebrity. He makes it a point that being an actor is a job.
"Acting is my job. You never want to perceive yourself through anyone else's eyes and whether that's the media of a social thing, or someone coming up to you in a bar. You want to maintain the fact that it's a job. That's what it is."
When the actor was asked on what it was like to work with Shailene Woodley the second time around, he did share that they both thought it would be easier as they've already worked with each other during the previous film. Easy as it may seem, everything changed the moment they did the first scene.
"She's great. One thing Shai and I found is that when you come back after a year and at first you think it's fine because we've done these characters, it's all good, then you get on set and you do that first scene and it's like oh. It doesn't just come back, you've got to click into gear."
