Huawei Nexus 6P won't be available in retail stores until January 6, 2016 but based on the store's listings, interested buyers of the mobile device can purchase it at Best Buy for $499. Additionally, Best Buy is also offering Nexus 6P buyers with free expedited shipping in time for Christmas.
When the Nexus 6P and 5X were launched, it was announced that the Google Store was the exclusive seller of the said flagship devices. However, over time, more and more retailers started to sell the 5x and Best Buy is now the first retail store to sell the 6P.
As of date, only the 64GB model in Aluminum is available in Best Buy for $499. The $499 retail price matches the $50 discount the Google Store and other retailers offer on Nexus devices for the holidays. It is also possible to see the Nexus 6P's gold version in Best Buy as the retail chain is known for selling exclusive colors of mobile phones.
The Nexus 6P Gold 64GB model was first launched as a Japanese exclusive, but last December 19, Huawei announced that the Limited Edition Nexus 6P Gold is already available in India. It is now sold in Indian retail stores for Rs 43,999 or $663.
"The Huawei Nexus 6P has been well received by the Indian audience and keeping in mind the niche target group, we have introduced the Gold color Special Edition of the smartphone," Huwaei India - Consumer Business Group Presiden Allen Wang announced.
The Nexus 6P runs on the latest version of Android Marshmallow 6.0. It offers a pure android experience featuring the latest smartphone applications and cutting-edge Nexus hardware.
The smartphone has an all-metal unibody crafted from aeronautical-grade anodized aluminum with diamond chamfers encircling its edges. The Nexus 6P also has a sculpted back where the phone's high-performance camera is located. According to reviews, the mobile device's camera works well in low lighting and can capture fast movement.
