Xbox division head Phil Spencer says Microsoft will not prevent external developers from utilizing its Azure cloud-based technology.

The Xbox executive known for his open communication with gamers over his Twitter account has once again given Xbox patrons a chance to have their questions answered. One of the higlights of the exchange was when a 'Titanfall 2' fans asked if the tech giant had any plans of locking down the game, in order to eliminate the possibility of Xbox losing out on Azure Cloud services, which was seconded by another fan saying not doing so would not be a smart move for Microsoft.

Spencer responded graciously and wrote, "Azure services are available to any game, even other platform's exclusives. We wouldn't keep someone from using."

Some fans wanted some details about the said game to which Spencer refused to comment on saying," ...I know people want me to comment on specific 3rd party games, I just can't.  Sorry."

Respawn, the developer of Titanfall, has revealed recently that the game sequel is currently in production. In an interview with IGN, Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella said,  "No official name yet, but we're working on that. That's the main focus but we're starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow! It'll be multiplatform." This means that the game will be available to PlayStation 4 and most probably PC, aside from its last release's exclusive home, Xbox One.

Speaking of Xbox games, fans of the console are eager to play their 360 games on the newer version, so a number of them asked why it's taking so long for some to be available through backward compatibility. According to Spencer, they test all the games thoroughly so it takes so much time. But he assured fans that their team is working hard to grant fans' requests.
