Charlie Hunnam played the iconic role of Jackson 'Jax' Teller in the FX series "Sons of Anarchy." While the 'SOA' prequel is said to be in the works, rumor has it that Hunnam may not reprise his role because of an alleged rift with the series creator, Kurt Sutter.

"Sons of Anarchy" is probably one of the best American drama series to ever hit the small screens. Fans and viewers had to bid the show farewell in 2014 after seven seasons on TV along with the death of its lead character, Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam).

Series creator Kurt Sutter recently revealed to Deadline that a 'SOA' prequel and spinoff are in the works. Despite previous claims that the prequel will be turned into a movie, Sutter shared that they are looking into producing a series.

"At some point I do have plans to hopefully do the prequel, which I do see as a one-off 10- or 12-episode thing where we begin in Nam and see John Teller and Piney and see how that relationship got created... And then have it be the development of the club, ending before we start to get too close to some of the mythology that's already been established," he said.

Meanwhile, many fans are excited to see whether Hunnam will be reprising his role as Jax Teller in the "Sons of Anarchy" prequel or if he would be portraying a completely different character. However, a report from Youth Health Mag seemingly hints that Hunnam may not be back for the series because of an alleged beef with Sutter.

According to the outlet, Hunnam previously admitted that he and Sutter "got close" to blasting each other in the face while filming "Sons of Anarchy." The 35-year-old actor went on and said "there has been security rushing onto set and pulling us apart before."

This alleged beef, however, does not seem to be true between Hunnam and Sutter, as the 'SOA' creator shared that his wife, Katey Sagal thinks of Hunnam as one of their kids.

"I love Charlie, man. We can't wait until we have an opportunity to work together again," he said.
