Scarlett Johansson, who is currently in New Zealand for the filming of her new movie "Ghost in the Shell," was rumored to be moving there permanently. The locals are pretty relaxed about this bit of news.

According to Stuff.co.nz, the A-list star will start shooting her next film "Ghost in the Shell" at Miramar's Stone Street Studios in January. The said movie is based from the acclaimed Japanese manga and anime series about a cyborg police officer who attempts to bring down a villainous computer hacker.

The "Avengers" star will soon be moving into her lavish pad in Seatoun where Hollywood stars have also lived. Neighbors said that she will be moving there soon.

One said, "I'd heard a whisper. Does the surname start with a J?"

The same source also mentioned that neighbors wished the Hollywood star to try fishing and diving off the coast like other tourists do when they stay in the town. Seatoun is said to be a "pretty low key" place and the entire neighborhood is always ready to welcome newcomers.

"She'd have to have the right kit because it's a bit cold. And if she hung out with the right people she could go out for a bit of deer hunting."

Another neighboor said, "She's a good actress. I've seen some things. I'll look her up on IMDB."

One neighbour named Oliver is excited to know Scarlett Johansson, the two-time winner of Esquire magazine's sexiest woman alive prize, may soon be living next door. "She's famous, real famous. It'd be so cool."

Though a lot of them are excited of her coming, some aren't as excited since they are used to having some Hollywood stars around already. "During the Hobbit we had lots of A-listers sniffing around. They were looking at putting old-what's-his-name in here ... Gandalf."

"Another one came past here -- Orlando [Bloom] -- and was going to move in here." He was pointing out to an impressive place, a really nice setup. The same place will be the same house where the actress will be moving.

With the neighbors' expectation on Scarlett Johansson's coming, there were some who said that the actress might be staying there for long even after finishing her next film's shooting. NZ Herald stated that by next month, she will finally be moving to Wellington.

Scarlett Johansson has neither confirmed nor denied the rumors.
