This home in Goiânia, Brazil is a perfect place to entertain people, especially this holiday season.
A couple owns this estate and they worked with Dayala + Rafael Estúdio de Arquitetura to design this modern home that is built with a natural gentle slope. They wanted to maximize the landscape outdoors so they were very specific with the design they wanted.
Since the target is to incorporate as much of the surrounding landscape into the house, it was difficult for the architects to make sure the insides of the house are not overly exposed to passers by. So what they did was to include large walls with only few windows at the front of the home facing the street side, while the back part of the house has larger windows so as to have a great view of the outdoors.
The overall design of the home is contemporary. The walls are painted white, and the furniture has a soft neutral pallet. Lights are placed strategically and look so classy at night, as if inviting guests to come and party inside.
The U-shape driveway warmly welcomes the guests and they could enter the home through stairs or ramp. These open to the spacious living room, with several sofa and table sets for lounging around. The area is well lit despite the wall covering the front of the home.
There is an open space right at the back of the house where guests could take a dip in the pool or relax in the Jacuzzi. The recreational area is surrounded by lush greens, and there's also an area for dining or cocktails.
At night, the combination of the landscape and sophisticated lights highlight the home and make it stand out from the rest of the neighborhood. You could almost hear the couple's family, friends and loved ones celebrating the holidays in this beautiful home.
